Family Reunion 2011

This year the annual family reunion will celebrate the printing of the memoires of Daniel Appel. It tells the story of his Aliya from Russia to the land of Israel under Ottoman rule and his marriage to Bella Neviaski with the blessing of Rabbi Arye Leib Frumkin uncle of the bride's mother - Hanna Leah Neviaski. Daniel related the story at the age 80 and has been edited and published by his granddaughter Eda Goldstein (nee Appel).
Bella and Daniel Appel started out in the old City of Jerusalem and then moved to Yemin Moshe and the new city of Jerusalem to 22, Ben Yehuda St (the house was built by their brother-in-law Joseph Grossman).

We will take part in the mitzvah of going up to Jerusalem during Succot and meet in the Artists Gallery in the Bezalel Building,
